I have just heard the sad news this evening from Don Borrowman, Niagara Falls, Onysrio that Mac passed away in November last year.
All 3 of us worked together for Green Giant in the 1980s. Mac and I managed several projects at Ste Martine. One of our high tec projects at the time was high speed colour recognition to sort cans into various products. He was a great guy, optimistic, thoughtful and a great manager.
Even though I’ve been back in England 28 years, Mac made contact every year at Christmas. I have photos of him and me at the factory which I keep as fond memories of my time in Ste Martine.
My sincere condolences and deepest sympathies are sent to Mac’s family and friends.
